30 Jan Virginia: Ask Committee Members to Vote Yes on HB 1541 and SB 467
Companion bills HB 1541 and SB 467 establish a mixed beverage retail cigar shop license, permitting qualified tobacconists to serve wine, beer, or mixed beverages for on-premises consumption at a limited number of events per year. The Senate Committee on Rehabilitation and Social Services and the House Committee on General Laws are scheduled to consider this important legislation this Friday and again next week.
The Committee members will determine whether the mixed beverage retail cigar shop license advances in the legislative process or dies.
