Pennsylvania:  Urge the State Senate Not to Include a Cigar Tax in the Budget Plan!

Yesterday, the state House approved a budget plan for 2014-15 fiscal year. While this version of the budget does not contain any new tax increases, rumors are circulating that some state Senators are considering the inclusion of an Other Tobacco Products (OTP) tax on cigars. Final budget negotiations will likely continue through the weekend in order for the legislature to meet the Monday deadline. However, the budget could be finalized as early as tomorrow.

Your immediate action is critical in order to prevent a business killing OTP tax change in Pennsylvania. Click on the box below to contact the members of the state Senate, and urge them to vote NO on a budget plan that includes a cigar tax.
