Oregon: Your Help Needed to Save Cigar Tax Cap

19 Jun Oregon: Your Help Needed to Save Cigar Tax Cap

The Chairman of the House Committee on Revenue is considering the elimination of Oregon’s $.50 cigar tax cap to raise revenue. If this were to happen, all cigars would be taxed at 65% of the wholesale price.
