New Orleans: The City Council Needs to Hear From You

16 Jan New Orleans: The City Council Needs to Hear From You

As you know, IPCPR’s 83rd Annual Convention & International Trade Show is scheduled to take place in New Orleans this year. The New Orleans City Council is currently seeking public feedback on legislation that would prohibit smoking in most businesses and public spaces across the city. A final vote on this ordinance could take place as early as January 22.

The IPCPR Trade Show contributes considerably to the local economy in New Orleans. As an attendee, your feedback on the effects of the proposed ordinance is very valuable. We ask that you please take the time to contact the New Orleans City Council and politely remind them of the impact a smoking ban could have on your experience at the Trade Show.
