New Mexico: Governor Signs Cigar Tax Cap into Law

New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham singed into law House Bill 6 which includes a tax cap of $0.50 per cigar. This monumental legislation provides much needed tax relief to IPCPR members and will help retail tobacconists grow their businesses in the Land of Enchantment. The new law will go into effect on July 1st, 2019.
