Nebraska: Urge the General Affairs Committee to Support LB 118

15 Jan Nebraska: Urge the General Affairs Committee to Support LB 118

Legislative Bill 118, introduced by Senators Tyson Larson and Bob Krist, creates a limited exemption to the Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act to allow for smoking in cigar shops. This legislation was referred to the General Affairs Committee, and is expected to be heard on January 26.

Over the past few months, your representatives at IPCPR have been collaborating with Nebraska Premium Tobacco Association and the Cigar Association of America to protect the interests of retail tobacconists in Nebraska.
