Today Senate Bill 304, sponsored by Senator Joe Hune, passed the state House of Representatives. This important legislation removes the sunset provision on the $.50 cigar tax cap set to expire in 2021. S.B. 304 passed the state Senate last week. The legislation will now go to Governor Rick Snyder for his signature. The Governor is expected to sign the bill. Thank you to all IPCPR members who contacted the legislature in support of S.B. 304.
