FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WASHINGTON, DC – January 18, 2018 – The International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers (IPCPR) Association announced today that Matt Dogali, Senior Director of State Affairs, will resign from IPCPR effective January 24, 2018.
Since 2013, Mr. Dogali has led IPCPR’s state team with great success, representing the interests of tobacconists in state capitals across the country. Mr. Dogali says, “I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to work alongside dedicated IPCPR members, board members, and staff over the past five years. I look forward to continuing a partnership with IPCPR in the future as Executive Director of the Presidents’ Forum of the Distilled Spirits Industry.”
IPCPR’s State Committee Chairman, Greg Zimmerman, states, “I am extremely proud of what IPCPR has accomplished under Matt’s leadership at the state level. We have grown from a little-known organization in the states into an established program with a bright future. We thank Matt for his service to IPCPR and wish him success in his new position.”
“We also look forward to continuing the association’s tradition of excellent leadership,” Zimmerman adds. Upon Mr. Dogali’s departure, current Deputy Director of State Affairs at IPCPR, Rachel Hyde, assumes the role of Director. “Rachel has been a key part of our success since she was hired in 2013, and we are thrilled to promote her to this important position,” says IPCPR president Ken P. Neumann.
