Nebraska: Committee Hears Bill to Fix Smoking Ban

26 Jan Nebraska: Committee Hears Bill to Fix Smoking Ban

Today the General Affairs Committee held the first hearing on Legislative Bill 118. Introduced by Senator Tyson Larson, this legislation would create a limited exemption to the Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act to allow for smoking in cigar shops. The passage of this legislation is critical to protect the true cigar shop experience at several small businesses across Nebraska.

We anticipate a committee vote within a week. Please continue to contact the members of the General Affairs Committee to encourage their swift action and support of this bill. Click the button below to contact the members of the Committee.
